3M today launched its new disposable KN95 respirator, the 3M™ 9513 Particulate Respirator KN95, which is designed to seal to the face allowing air to go through the filter, not around the outside edge of the respirator.
The 3M™ 9513 Particulate Respirator KN95 is an example of how 3M has applied science to provide more innovative products to help protect people in their daily lives.
Made from 3M’s proprietary filter media, 3M™ Advanced Electrostatic Media, filters dust and other particles, while allowing for easy breathing. The filter media filters at least 95% of airborne particulates such as dirt, dust, sand, vehicle exhaust particles, PM 2.5 and allergens, when used as instructed.
Typical face coverings and surgical masks often fit loosely, leaving gaps between the mask and face. The 3M™ 9513 Particulate Respirator KN95 has a four-layer 3D design that is comfortable, and breathable.
The 3M™ 9513 Particulate Respirator KN95 features stretchable sidebands with hooks to help hold it tightly to the face and soft, breathable layers for added comfort. Additionally, an embedded noseclip provides a non-industrial look and feel – for work and play.
The respirator includes highly charged microfibers that enhance the capture of airborne particles while allowing for easy breathing for users during seasonal haze, which typically occurs from June to September in Malaysia.

Available in one-count and three-count convenient and easy to store packaging, the 3M™ 9513 Particulate Respirator KN95 features a vertical, flatfold design for easy wear and storage. It has a shelf life of five years from manufacturing date.
