Lawsuit

  • Former economy minister Rafizi Ramli said he was “forced” to initiate legal proceedings against rapper Ariz Ramli, better known as Caprice.

Speaking in a video on Facebook today, Rafizi said many had accused him of being a coward over his perceived reluctance to sue Caprice, who accused the politician of steering a contract worth RM2.5 billion to a company with ties to him.

“I usually just answer (the accusations levelled against) and I won't sue because most of them are ordinary people. So I leave it to God.

“But Caprice is the first one to accuse me of taking bribes,” he said.
