Kedah ruler Sultan Sallehuddin Sultan Badlishah will grace the Malaysia Madani Aidilfitri Open House to be held in the state tomorrow.

Minister of Communications and Digital Fahmi Fadzil said the federal government was grateful the ruler agreed to grace the occasion with his presence.

“The sultan’s appearance will certainly add colour to the Malaysia Madani Aidilfitri Open House series, as well as give Kedahans the opportunity to celebrate Aidilfitri together with His Royal Highness,” he said in a statement today.

The event will be held from 10am to 2pm at Hotel Raia, Alor Setar.

Earlier, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim invited the public to join him at the Malaysia Madani Aidilfitri Open House at six locations, starting with Kedah tomorrow.
