Petaling Jaya Utara MP Tony Pua has been urged to assist in formulating policies that will help those suffering from mental illnesses, instead of using "mental illness" as an insult.

Prominent disabled and animal rights activist Anthony Thanasayan said mental illness is no laughing matter and Pua, as a lawmaker, should know better.

"Pua should be raising the plight of those who are suffering from mental illnesses in Parliament. They have difficulty finding jobs or living independently and are marginalised," Anthony said...
