The Special Affairs Department (Jasa) will adopt the “explain with concrete facts” approach to address various current issues in facing the 14th General Election.

Miri Jasa said among the issues that were being addressed ahead of GE14 is the cost of living in rural areas, such as in Baram, so that the people understood the actual facts.

“Issues related to local and national politics are also attracting the attention of grassroots communities here,” it said in a statement today.

The statement was issued today in conjunction with the Engagement With Community programme held yesterday with 70 local community leaders in Sibuti and Baram, aimed to discuss current political issues and strengthen the support of BN voters in GE14.

Also present at the programme was Sarawak Jasa deputy director Anwar Hanafi Ardimansyah.
