Red-shirts leader Jamal Md Yunos has invited six journalists to ride on a helicopter for an aerial view of a PKR Youth leader's wealth in Ampang.

He claimed the 28-year-old politician owned a luxurious bungalow and expensive cars despite holding the party position for one term.

"Exposed now is a tale of how a 28-year-old with a position in PKR which he has held for a term and has extraordinary wealth... a bungalow and tens of cars worth millions...

"I was offered by a friend to ride on a helicopter and invite six journalists along to take a look at this person’s wealth at noon tomorrow," he told reporters in Kuala Lumpur.

However, Jamal did not specify which media organisations would be invited, and told other journalists to gather at the PKR Youth leader's house tomorrow.

Malaysiakini is withholding the name of the PKR Youth leader, pending his response to the allegation.

This comes after Jamal accused followers of PKR's Ampang MP Zuraida Kamaruddin of assaulting him during a scuffle at the Ampang Point mall.

Zuraida has sent Jamal a letter of demand over the accusation.

Jamal is heard in the a video of the incident saying, "Police punched me" but denied this today.

Meanwhile, PKR Youth chief Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad claimed that he had never heard of such news about his people.

"This is the first time I heard about it. If he wanted to take helicopter, let him be," he said after distributing 2,000 Bersih leaflets at Masjid Jamek today.

"There was never an issue before, we did not receive any (information). If he (PKR Youth leader) is a civil servant, then it is another matter, but we will not accept whatever (allegations).

"If he (Jamal) has serious issues, then he should report (the matter) to the authority," Nik Nazmi told the media.
