Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah of Kelantan Umno was right when he was quoted as saying that the plan for prime minister and Umno president Abdullah Ahmad Badawi to hand over the reins to his deputy Najib Abdul Razak was akin to “passing property” from one to another. Or rather Malay families in politics “getting back the property they had lost earlier to usurpers.”
