An anti-ISA rally held at the Bandar Baru Bangi stadium last night had a minor hiccup when a group of activists tried to barge in to hand a memorandum to PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang seeking his help to resolve the pig farming issue in Malacca.
The group from the Majlis Permufakatan Ummah (Pewaris) and the Gabungan Gerakan Melyu Muda (GGMM) also tried to hand over the memorandum to PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim, who was not present at the rally.
The two NGOs, along with some 200 activists, had came all the way from Paya Mengkuang, Malacca - some wearing T-shirts in support of ISA - sought the intervention of the two leaders to resolve the pig farming issue in their village which had dogged them for more than three decades.
