A video camera belonging to an activist was seized by police during a candlelight vigil last Sunday. Not only was he also detained by the police, after almost five days, his camera is still in police ‘custody'.
Ong Boon Keong, who is the Penang co-ordinator for Malaysians for Free and Fair Elections (Mafrel), said he was recording the acts of the police who were attempting to disperse the crowd when his camera was confiscated.
