Lost amidst the chatter on PAS-Umno talks and PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim's sodomy case is the fact that the second largest Barisan Nasional component party, MCA, will be having its party elections in October.
This race will be the most open in recent party history as both its president and deputy president – Ong Ka Ting and Chan Kong Choy respectively – are not contesting.
