Police will investigate two reports lodged in connection to a blogger’s article of an alleged affair between the Kota Belud MP and her special officer.

Sabah Police Commissioner Omar Mammah (photo) said one report was made by the MP Isnaraissah Munirah Majilis, who is also Energy, Technology, Science, Climate Change and Environment Deputy Minister, in Subang Jaya on Sunday.

“Another report was made by the special officer’s wife and we are conducting further investigations,” he said to reporters after officiating at the delivery of the message of the Sabah Police commissioner at the Sabah Police headquarters in Kepayan, Kota Kinabalu.

He urged all parties not to make any speculations until the investigations have been completed.

“We do not want to compromise anyone’s reputation, we should respect all parties involved in this case,” he said.

Munirah, who is head of Warisan’s Young Women’s Wing, found out about the article after she was informed by a friend in a WhatsApp message.
