YOURSAY | 'Now it's Adam Rosly's turn to declare his assets and liabilities. Just do it.'
Rafizi responds to dare, reveals NGOs' financial statements
Anonymous 2460391489930458: Ampang PKR Youth leader Adam Rosly must be feeling pretty stupid now. It is ridiculous that with the controversy surrounding his mysterious fortune, yet he dares to challenge a down-to-earth modest bloke like PKR vice-president Rafizi Ramli.
Boeyks: Swiftly showing the accounts shows that you are as clean as your records.
If only others especially that one guy has one-tenth of your guts in showing the accounts instead of getting dedak-eating cronies to answer, so much will finally be answered.
Budak SRJK (C): Pandan MP Rafizi, my hats off to you. You are the man. You are the future of Malaysia. Your commitment and dedication to the betterment of this nation is unsurpassed. Keep up the good work.
Hello, 1MDB mega-thief, if only you are one-hundredth of this young man, this nation will not be in the deep hole it is in now. You are shameless. Absolutely shameless.
Rick Teo: If only we have a PM as honest as Rafizi. One day he will be our PM, for good will triumph over evil.
Anonymous_1397613657: Let us donate to Rafizi's NGO Invoke now, for a noble cause. See Invoke's website for the account number. All of us should contribute, no matter how little.
Versey: My family and all the friends I know hold high regards of Rafizi. He has proven to be competent, capable, trustworthy and credible MP, and is of cabinet minister material.
We wish to see Malaysia with more politicians of such high calibre to serve the rakyat. Pandan MP Rafizi, we heartily wish you well in all your endeavours and undertakings.
We pray that the almighty God's richest blessings be with you. Keep up the good work you have started.
Anonymous 539281478077880: Adam Rosly, where are you going to put your face now? Rafizi is a real gentleman for releasing the accounts as requested by you Adam. Shame on you for accusing Rafizi.
Hornbill: Now it's Adam's turn to declare his assets and liabilities. Just do it.
Leongan: I salute Rafizi Ramli as a "jewel in a crown". You are a fine example to Pakatan Harapan. Hope all would emulate his footsteps and set a fine example for a future.
But are Rafizi and Adam from different parties? Is this the way PKR members deal with differences among themselves? Must they act as though "you are from Umno, I am from PKR"?
Nik Abduh: Harapan's chance of winning Putrajaya 'distant' without PAS
Clever voter: PAS Pasir Mas MP Nik Abduh Nik Aziz knows very well that this is the opportune moment to take advantage of Umno's decline. It's all about politics.
PAS is no different from Umno. It has foolishly learned the bad habits of Umno to use religion to pursue a self-serving agenda that benefits a few. If PAS had been more sincere, Kelantan would not be bottom of the class in its economic and social performance.
PAS also has a twisted self-image that it sees itself as an alternative to Umno. Many had enough of Umno rule for more than fifty years. Imagine having another fifty years of the same thing, but an Islamic version.
We will regress to the level to that of nations that have similar experiences - self-serving politicians who only want to enrich themselves at the expense of nation. When we reach that level it would be too late to say we could have done something.
Unafraid: This guy seems to have forgotten a critical element in the run up to the elections and that is the Sabahans and Sarawakians. He and others in PAS are so fixated on DAP that they forget that the East Malaysian vote can change the balance of the equation.
The moment Umno decides to join hands with the Islamist party, I am certain many East Malaysian partners will leave BN. What will happen then is that the country is polarised between those who champion Islam and those who do not do that.
It will be fatal not only to Umno if they decide on this course of political survival but also the destiny of our beloved nation. Most right thinking Malaysians, many Malays included, want a harmonious peaceful prosperous Malaysia, not a Malaysia hell-bent on an Islamic trajectory.
Well Thats Fantastic: When you use religion to garner support for your politics you not only stain our religion with the filth of politics, you yourself lose the moral high ground in all future discussions.
Understand that our religion is best looked after alongside all others. If there is room in law to hurt any religion it can be used against ours. Ban the use of religion in politics.
Anonymous_3e79: Take your religion and practice it in peace within your religious place of worship and homes. But keep politics and the economy free of your religion or any religion.
Malaysia must stay secular and free of religious zealots like PAS. Liberal? Yup. That's a progressive movement.
