MUKTAMAR | A PAS ulama (clerics) wing delegate has advised Selangor Menteri Besar Azmin Ali not to shoot his mouth off in insulting clerics.

According to Selangor delegate Nik Bakri Nik Mat, this was in reference to the PKR deputy president describing someone as a “tok lebai who was defeated in his own area”.

“The menteri besar from PKR insulted us using the term 'lebai' (which is often used to refer to rural religious teachers). We cannot accept this.

“If possible, we want to sever ties (with PKR) immediately because from a political aspect, hurting (the feelings) of rivals is common, but to insult us, especially our president (cannot be accepted)...
