Kumpulan Media Karangkraf founder Hussamuddin Yaacub confirmed today that the debate between former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad and Umno minister Nazri Abdul Aziz will proceed as scheduled.

"Praise God. Just received letter from Shah Alam district police chief (Shafien Mamat). Confirm dialogue Dr Mahathir vs Nazri will be held on April 7," he announced via Twitter.

The debate organiser had notified police on March 27 about the event slated to be held at Dewan Sultan Muhammad Ke-5, Kompleks Karangkraf, Shah Alam.
