MIC treasurer-general S Vell Paari said alleged attempts to sabotage a US$7 billion planned investment in Malaysia was tantamount to treason and an act of terrorism.

He said this in response to Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak who today claimed Saudi Aramco nearly aborted its investment in Malaysia due to “wrong information” provided by those who were “unpatriotic”.

“This heinous act of treason against our beloved country must be condemned by all Malaysians and must never be tolerated.
