PAS is unlikely to make a decision to cut ties with PKR even if the matter is slated to be discussed in the coming muktamar, said its vice-president Iskandar Abdul Samad.
"I am confident that the muktamar will not (make a decision) to cut ties with PKR," he told Malaysiakini via text message.
"Selangor is very important for PAS. It shows that PAS is not an East Coast or Malay Belt party, but a national party," he said, adding that PAS has benefited from its existence in the state.
"There is good cooperation among all parties in the state government and the relationship is as usual. This is not surprising as Selangor is different from other states," he said.
