DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng has slammed the resignation of the the party’s four representatives in Malacca as “a gift to BN” in the coming national polls.
He said the BN received the “gift” despite being mired in massive corruption scandals involving the 1MDB (RM52 billion) and Felda’s RM4.3 billion missing funds.
He said the resignations were “unexpected” as one of the members, Kota Melaka MP Sim Tong Him, was personally handpicked by Lim Kit Siang to stand in the 1986 general election.
