A group of truck drivers are expected to gather in solidarity for a driver driver who was allegedly assaulted by a group of men.

A media invitation to a press conference by the Small and Medium Scale Entrepreneurs Alliance of Malaysia (Ikhlas) said that they will “gather peacefully” to denounce the alleged assault on the truck driver.

Ikhlas also urged the police to take prompt action against those responsible behind the incident.
