The Election Commission has granted the Penang state government a public hearing on the objections it has filed against the commission's electoral constituency redelineation exercise.
Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng has received an official letter from EC, informing him to attend a hearing at Eastin Hotel on Nov 18.
Lim said five DAP assemblypersons and three parliamentarians submitted objections, each supported by 100 constituents, to the EC on Oct 14.
