Prominent banker Nazir Razak has repeated his call for a second national consultative council, arguing that the outcome of the first headed by his late father and second prime minister in the aftermath of the 1969 race relations is no longer applicable with regard to the current needs and aspirations of Malaysians.
Sharing his thoughts on this, PKR vice-president Rafizi Ramli said the current predicaments of the nation extended beyond normal political posturing by parties vying for power.
