Former deputy prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin has confirmed he will be registering a new political party with the Registrar of Societies (ROS), ending speculation on his next move since he was sacked from Umno.

In a Facebook posting today, Muhyiddin said a meeting on this was held last night at the residence of former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
