The Foreign Affairs Ministry said no Malaysians were affected in the truck-ramming tragedy during the Bastille Day celebration in Nice, France yesterday evening, which killed 80 people while 18 were seriously injured.

In a statement, Wisma Putra said the Embassy of Malaysia in Paris is in close contact with the local authorities to identify if any Malaysians were involved in the incident.

“The Foreign Affairs Ministry conveys its deepest condolences to the families of the victims of the incident,” it said.
