Police have found about 10kg of narcotics in a car belonging to one of the tenants of the Damansara apartment, where at least four homemade bombs were discovered today.
Petaling Jaya district police chief Zani Che Din told reporters over WhatsApp that about 9kg of the narcotics recovered are believed to be ketamine.
The remaining one kilogramme is believed to be cocaine, he said.
Police had earlier found syabu and ecstasy pills in the early morning raid on the apartment in Damansara Perdana.
During the raid they also discovered at least four pipe bombs, some of which had circuit boards.
Police believe the apartment had at least two tenants, and that the suspected bomb-maker was a local.
Both tenants are on the loose.
Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has assured that the case is not linked to terrorism .
