“I’m being investigated for the same alleged comments I made regarding the Johor sultan on Twitter in 2012,” said former Solidariti Mahasiswa Malaysia (SMM) student activist Ahmad Shukri Kamarudin, who was released on bail from the Ayer Molek lock-up at 6pm yesterday.
The former SMM media secretary was referring to his detention in 2012 for supposedly making insulting twitter posts about the Johor sultan.
“In the five days I spent in lock-up, the police officers would meet me for four to five hours daily to facilitate the investigation.
