Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak today vowed that the government will combat terrorism and extremism, whether it is religious or racial.

“As prime minister of Malaysia, I can give you the undertaking that we will fight tooth and nail against any form of terrorism and any form of extremism, whether it is religious or racial extremism,” Najib said today.

The premier said the recent terrorists attacks on Jakarta, Istanbul, and Paris showed that peace and harmony was a commodity that shouldn’t be taken for granted.
