PARLIAMENT The government is paying RM221.66 million a year to private company Spanco Sdn Bhd to lease 10,963 Proton cars for the use of its officers.

The government has rented seven models of Proton cars at the rate of RM973.84 to RM3,288.84 a model a month, the Finance Ministry said in a written reply to Parliament.
