LGBTs exist to purge the bad, says Umno delegate

AnakPinang: Is this man a representative of Islam and the religious authority that 'protects' it? Spewing hatred and bigotry when they should accept and embrace God's will and creations?

It is not enough that every non-Muslim is classified as less than human to them, now they have to demonise the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community to make themselves feel superior.

These so called 'chosen' ones forget that HIV is mostly spread in heterosexual relationships today and more so among the Malays. LGBTs are not the problem. It's the rabid and dogmatic attitude these fundamentalists have that is.

Join the 21st Century la. Ever heard of equality and human rights? I thought not. Disgusting people. Why can't the roof cave in on these imbeciles instead of Serdang Hospital?

Mushiro: Umno's Johor delegate Abd Mutalib Abd Rahim and Umno are hypocrites and behave like an ostrich that likes to bury its head in the ground when in fear. Look within Umno, within Johor and among your parliamentarians for LGBT and take action on your own members first. And this person even has an adopted offspring.

Zahid wants crackdown on 'Shiite' Mat Sabu

Ferdtan: We have heard of Sunni-Shia sectarian conflict in other parts of the world. Many hundreds of thousands of Muslims of both beliefs have been killed around the word, like Afghanistan, Pakistan and now Sunni-Shia strife is appearing in the Syrian civil war.

In fact Afghan intelligence said that the governor, Arsaka Jamel, in Afghanistan was killed with a bomb smuggled into a mosque inside a copy of a Quran. Luckily Malaysia escaped such inter-sect animosity.

However, with the recent active activities of our religious agencies targeting such fringe Muslim groups, and now Home Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi openly accusing another Muslim leader, Mat Sabu of PAS of being a Shiite member is very dangerous to the so far peaceful coexistence between the two groups in the country.

The majority of Muslims (at least over 90%) in Malaysia are Sunni. So why is Hamidi playing a dangerous game in stroking such enmity between the two - even political expediency is no excuse?

The anti-Shiite rhetoric that dominated the Umno general assembly is dangerous if some clueless fanatics from either side were to take the cue from the debates. Please don't make it the beginning of Malaysia's Sunni-Shia conflict.

Anonymous #19098644: The Umno infidels talk about Muslim unity while they denounce one third of the world's Muslim ummah comprising the Shiites. Umno sucks up to Iran and has good relations with Iraq both of which are Shiite countries, while denouncing them as heretics at home. But Mat Sabu must not fall into Zahid's trap. If he does and denies his is a Shiite, he will offend the Shiite Muslims as well as their Sunni sympathizers.
