BN needs no invitation to join Bersih tribunal

YOURSAY 'Regrettably BN sec-gen Tengku Adnan never clarified what kind of wrongdoings the opposition has committed in GE13.'

BN also upset with GE13 irregularities, says sec-gen

your say Bystander: Like BN secretary-general Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor, I too would be disappointed if after spending so many millions of ringgit to rig GE13 and yet lost the popular votes by a few hundred thousands.

He is not so bright to have the audacity to feign concern over the irregularities during GE13 when these were only possible with the collaboration of Election Commission (EC), which itself created so much of controversies such as the indelible ink that was food colouring and phantoms voters using a common addresses that were never occupied by them or the acceptance of voters with fictitious names like Jinjang bin Kepung.

He, as a person, has already been proven to be dishonest in the VK Lingam Royal Commission of Inquiry and he expected us to believe him?

Victim: So Tengku Adnan, join Bersih to ask the EC commissioners to resign en bloc and call for your MPs to vote to abolish Section 9A. Don't just talk rubbish.

The power is in your hands - if you claim there are irregularities, you sure didn't do a thing before the GE. Poor, poor BN. So now the GE13 was skewed, but in whose favour? The tooth fairy?

Anonymous #71627369: Adnan, you and Umno-BN are just plain upset that all your irregularities did not work with regular precision this time around.

Even then with 47 percent of votes nationwide and with 45 percent in Perak, you got to control both Putrajaya and the state government in Ipoh.

JTC: Well, if I were in BN, I would be upset too. After all, the money BN had spent to create phantom voters, to bribe voters and to do all the dastardly things that only the BN was capable of doing and then keeping a straight face and trying to look like righteous people, it still lost in popular vote.

Now, wouldn't I be upset (if I were in BN)? It's incredulous that cheats would even dare to talk about things like this. But then, they are BN leaders - thick-skinned nincompoops who must be gotten rid of.

Tao Student: Regrettably the minister never clarified what kind of wrongdoings the opposition has committed in GE13.

Whether agree or not, the EC is reporting to BN directly. Would you laugh when the minister blames opposition for being responsible for electoral manipulation?

Apa Ini?: Why wait for an invitation from the Bersih Tribunal that has been formed to look into electoral fraud? Bersih has openly asked for reports of electoral fraud from all citizens.

Ex-deputy minister denies being involved in Project IC

Black Mamba: Former federal deputy minister Yahya Lampong is not a credible witness. How can he contradict former PM Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who has admitted ICs (identity cards) were given to those who have reside in Sabah for years, and who practice the same Islamic faith and culture, and speak the Malay language?

By his reasoning, is he implying Dr M is lying and not a gentleman? Mind you, he was the late Megat Junid Megat Ayub's boss at that time, and yours too.

Spinnot: "It's a very small impact. Maybe a few seats. That's all," said Yahya.

Sabah state assembly seats used to be of equal numbers between Muslim bumiputera seats and non-Muslim bumiputera seats.

Project IC concentrated on the few marginal non-Muslim bumiputera seats, all of which have now become Muslim bumiputera seats.

Anonymous_3e86: Of course, he will deny his involvement in Project IC, just like all the other guilty parties. Not a single one is going to admit their guilt. Has Altantuya Shaariibuu's murderer confessed his/her guilt?

Fernz: Dead men tell no tales. Yahya should ask himself whether anyone considers him a gentleman.

He encouraged Mustapha Harun to test his ‘early bird catches the worm theory' in 1985 and the latter subsequently clambered the palace walls in the wee hours of the morning and had himself sworn in as chief minister until he was removed by the High Court.

Immigrants also obtained police cards, RCI told

Wildthinker: It pains me to admit but it is the fault and weaknesses of the local leaders, and their greed is the one that ultimately sealed Sabah's fate.

The only way to save Sabah is for its people to open their eyes, educate themselves and wrestle back what belongs to them. As a Sabahan, my heart bleeds.

Headhunters: Plain simple, Umno just cannot accept a non-Muslim as chief minister.

So Umno engineered that illegal scheme to have non-Muslims outnumbered and kick out the PBS-led Sabah state government like what was done in the case of former Sarawak Chief Minister Stephen Kalong Ningkan of Snap.

Umno kicked Ningkan out but was re-instated as CM by the court. Then as a last measure, the federal government declared emergency rule in Sarawak and kicked Ningkan out during this period.

Stories: I'm surprised a former Special Branch officer such as Sandakan police chief Rowell Marong couldn't do some investigating to see where the ICs allegedly issued to illegal immigrants came from.
