With the prosecution completing its submissions in the Sodomy II trial, Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim is maintaining that the case is a political conspiracy initiated to satisfy Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak and his wife Rosmah Mansor.

There is no basis for the prosecution to go on with the case, Anwar said, unless it is to satisfy their political masters.
