JBGUY: Ibrahim Ali, you have just made up men to be sex crazed animals who have no compassion or understanding for their wives. I shudder to think of the torture you inflict on your wife/wives.

Please wake up to this modern world and respect women for the important role they play in our lives. I am amazed that there are constituents who actually elect you into Parliament.

HYL: First it's Bung Moktar Radin and now Ibrahim Ali. So you mean the ladies have to stop cooking and not feeding the family just to satisfy the husband's urges?

Then the ladies will be accused of neglecting the children and family for making them go hungry. Can't the husband control himself and wait until the wife finishes her tasks?

It takes two hands to clap. Sex is only enjoyable when both parties are in the mood. You are making women your sex slaves. Please don't put the blame on us women! It's you men who are the weak-willed ones.

Noriha: Syariah law is eroding women's right in Malaysia. This is a strategy to rein in the modern women. Even when women are earning income as much as men and even more in some cases, we are still treated like second-class citizen.

The syariah law represses women's right in every way and protect men and their property.

Only a sicko will harp on such issue so often in the august house of Parliament where it is sad to note he will find more than a couple of fellow passengers. P Dev Anand Pillai: I wonder how would educated women of the Muslim faith respond to a statement like this. Isn't it demeaning and completely discriminatory? Are women just treated as sexual objects to satisfy the urges of men?

Sadly even being the majority in tertiary education and the graduates that come out, Muslim women just don't seem to be able to break free from this type of stigmatisation. Whatever the situation or the case may be and however high the status of her education, she is still seen as a sex object.

Despite all this berating from the men, they still deligently and obediently vote for the same men and party again and again. So come to think of it, perhaps they deserve what they get! Isn't it time that they stood up at least for the sake of their intelligence?

Phra Ong Chao: I see, so husbands need not act responsibly. Whenever they have a bit of urge, wives must turn of the fire at the stove and jump into bed.

But when food is not ready fast enough for dinner, husbands like Ibrahim will still say their wives are not responsible enough. And what happens to the wife who has an urge? Must the husband also drop everything and please his wife?

If the wife who has unsatisfied urges go to little secret places to satisfy her urges, is the 'irresponsible' husband the cause of her extramarital affair. Ah, but Ibrahim will demand that the wife be punished because husband can do no wrong, see?
