Sodomised many times without condom, claims Saiful

Kbe: Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan claimed to have been sodomised many times without condom yet the doctor found no trace of injury on his bunghole. To this end, the doctor said it's possible to leave no trace of injury if the examination is done long after the last act or if lubricant is used.

If it's due to the lapse of time, how did the semen survive even if there's sufficient time even for the injury to heal? If lubricant was used and thereby avoiding injury, wouldn't the lubricant leave traces as well?

The doctor would know for sure if lubricant was used, and there's no need to postulate. Just because semen was supposedly found, the doctor deduced that penetration had occurred. They must be the most naive bunch of doctors in the world.

Albert: Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL) doctor Mohd Razali Ibrahim had told the court that traces of semen in Saiful's rectum did indeed show signs of penile penetration. But is it beyond reasonable doubt that presence of semen in Saiful's anus implies 100 percent penile penetration?

Doesn't Dr Razali have the intelligence to think through that the semen could also be introduced by artificial means? What about the three medical doctors, who when examining the conditions of Saiful's anus, had specifically stated that there was no evidence of penetration of his anus?

And the best part is that a strong young man has ridiculously claimed that he was not able to prevent an old man with a back pain to sodomise him. Hasn't sufficient reasonable doubt been created for the judge to throw out the case?

If the sodomy is consensual (as claimed by the prosecution), why isn't Saiful also charged together with Anwar?

Cascara: Semen or ejaculate is unlikely to retain its appearance after two days in the rectum knowing the high bacterial population in the gut. Even so, how could the doctors tell by just inspection that it was semen when the rectal mucosa is lined with mucus anyway?

Did they conveniently mistake mucus for semen? It is not easy to tell the difference unless spermatozoa are found microscopically.

Michael Angelo: The attorney-general is prolonging this charade because he is encouraged by his political masters. But little do they realise that this very act is driving the rakyat and voters away from the ruling government. The rakyat are not fools and we have already made up our mind on who is right and who is wrong. To prolong this issue is to actually hasten the demise of BN in GE13.

Maitreya: Islam is feared and loathed by many non-Muslims precisely because of the unmitigated idiocy of primitive desert tribe patriarchal biases which consider an individual's sexual indiscretions a far more serious crime than cold-blooded pre-meditated murder, abuse of power and massive corruption.

If this isn't the case, why do so many Malay Muslims condone the low-grade absurd persecution of the man most feared by Umno, while high-profile murder cases remain unsolved and multi-billion-ringgit scandals go unpunished?

Md Imraz Muhammed Ikhbal: If there are seminal fluids foreign to Saiful present in his rectum, then indeed there must have been some form of penetration but how can any doctor on the planet confirm, without physical evidence on the tissues within, that it was necessarily penile penetration?

Was there anything unique left behind that suggests that only a penis could have penetrated or could it also have been by any other kind of like-shaped objects? Therefore seminal fluids alone cannot rule out the conspiracy of planted semen and specimen, can it?

Even if the DNA belongs to Anwar, I still see no way for the prosecution to prove beyond reasonable doubt that it was Anwar's penis that penetrated Saiful's anus. Albeit Anwar will certainly be convicted and that's been politically determined well before even the criminal charge was preferred against him.

That which would be interesting for the world to see though is how. This is what makes this entire judicial charade so God-damned interesting albeit sickening.

Ferdtan: Dr Siew Sheue Feng and Dr Khairul Nizam should be ashamed of their stupid deduction - it lacks credibility and shows sinister motive to bend the truth - just to get a conviction for Anwar.

Earlier, both of you said there were no physical signs of penetration on Saiful, and then later said there was penetration due to the presence of semen in the anus. How stupid can that be for the two 'respected' doctors to come to that conclusion? It is just like saying there is rape without penetration?

Pure: In any criminal case, when any reasonable doubt is cast on the prosecution's case, the accused is entitled to the benefit of the doubt. Despite the HKL (and Hospital Pusrawi) initial report that there was no penetration to Saiful's anus, the prosecution persisted in continuing the proceedings.

There are a lot of double standards applications in this criminal hearing, and this is not only spooking foreign investors but also spooking the Malaysian inhabitants as well, whether they are citizens, non-citizens, illegal immigrants, Muslim or non-Muslims or even ghosts.

Changeagent: No penetration to Saiful's anus equals no case. Simple. The case should be closed. Period.
