Perkasa leader Ibrahim Ali fumed and showed his displeasure by repeatedly uttering foul language when the New Economic Policy (NEP) was questioned in an Al Jazeera interview.

The clip has been posted on YouTube .

In a two-minute clip, the narrator had suggested that the NEP is racist.

NONE Ibrahim Ali (right ) blew up and said heatedly; "If these people say that they are second-class citizens, don't talk s**t! Don't talk s**t! I repeat three times, don't talk s**t!"

"We, the Malays have forgiven them a lot, we have sacrificed a lot of our interests," he added.

The video featured the exodus of young educated Malaysians disenchanted with the discriminatory policies of the NEP.

Among them was Shirlene Ong, a Hong Kong resident over the past six years.

"I will not be returning to Malaysia any time soon. What may make me return is perhaps when all Malaysians are treated equally," she said.

Also interviewed was renowned Malaysian political scientist Farish Noor, who lamented that academic freedom is curbed in his native land and now teaches in Singapore.

Reporter Laura Kyle rounded up the clip by saying that since the NEP was introduced by Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's father, it would be fitting for his son to dismantle it.
