'Mohsin, we don't buy your lame reason to quit'

your say 'When unethical YBs with different agendas find excuses to divert from their principles, lie and cheat, they are actually cheating their family, the rakyat, and most of all, they are cheating themselves.'

Perak PKR MP Mohsin Samsuri quits

Keturunan Malaysia: Mohsin Fadzli Samsuri, there are always a thousand and one reasons to do something, just as there are always a thousand and one reasons not to do so. Only God and you know what actually is/are your reason/s.

As for us, we don't buy what you did or said. Mohsin, you have already sold yourself. For goodness sake, don't 'drag' God into this. He may not be seen to reward and punish instantaneously. But if you really believe in God, rest assured - His judgment will come to pass.

All Pretender: Those who quit Pakatan, please don't cheat the voters who put you there. Allah knows (the truth). If you put up a list of faults between Pakatan and BN, then you YBs know inside your hearts as to the truth of who is better.

When unethical YBs with different agendas find excuses to divert from their principles, lie and chea , they are actually cheating their family, the rakyat, and most of all, they are cheating themselves.

Ferdtan: Man has no pride and honour. To betray a trust is a great sin. It is treachery. It is believed that misfortune will befall to the treacherous sinner and his family. That's the law of karma.

Mohsin, one day you still have to face the Almighty and you will be judged. Pray that God will be merciful.

DC: Gosh. Another PKR bloke goes AWOL (absence without leave). Will Pakatan Rakyat survive? Please go and figure things out rather than commenting only to boost your ego. Nothing changes until we can recognise and work towards the change that we want that.

Concerned Citizen: Whatever anyone has to say to badmouth all these people, one must admit there is a serious problem in the opposition Pakatan Rakyat coalition. This particular ‘Yang Berhormat' is a man of principles. Stop bad mouthing those who left and claim they are unhappy only because of loss of contracts or positions or the like. Analyse the party's weaknesses that led to this exodus.

Aku Melayu: Alhamdulillah. Another Muslim PKR MP has come to insaf (realisation) about his mistake. May Allah guide the others. It is not their fault, as they have been fooled by the PKR top leadership. Praise be to Allah.

Meloya: I have not heard of this scum speak up in Parliament or any other political platform. Another under-performer. Good riddance to bad rubbish. Another addition to Umno!

Lim Chong Leong: Good riddance. There is really no need to be anxious about low quality MPs going out of PKR and even into Umno. Let's just hope more of them will follow suit. This will actually give the people renewed confidence in PKR. Zulkifli Noordin, I hope you make your move, too.

All Pretender: It's good the frogs jump now as Pakatan can now have more time to groom good honest YBs with potential. All the frogs knows very well that their tenure won't last. So they save their skin and make some money from BN before they're out. They've all forgotten who vote them in and what their responsibilities are, because they've other motivations (for entering politics).

It's a pleasure to see them leave. What a happy day for Pakatan and a sorry one for the frogs.

BTN: What a joke. He betrayed the voters just because of the ‘Allah' issue. The other frogs' excuse was that they lost confidence in the PKR leadership, and this clown's reason beats them all.

It's really a blessing in disguise that all these parasites in PKR are flushed out before the final push (to Putrajaya). Only sincere politicians are required. To all those who come into the party for money, please jump now.

Habib Rak: When he used the ‘Allah' issue as his excuse, I immediately realised that he is a hypocrite. Yet another corrupted soul exposed.

As for PKR, this is actually a good thing. Day by day, for every one corrupted MP or state assemblymember who exits PKR, thousands join PKR because the rotten ones are weeded out.

Salehuddin: It could be one defection every week

Karma: What goes around, comes around. Salehuddin Hashim said, "Pakatan was ready to accept 30 defectors for the sake of the Sept 16 (federal takeover) plan, and they said it is all about conscience."

He accepts, then, that by quitting the party but not quitting as MP is wrong and is cheating the voters. The Sept 16 (attempted) mutiny was wrong. Karpal Singh has said it . It is immoral, Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak had warned Anwar before (though PM did it too, so his karma is coming).

Anwar didn't choose the wrong people, he just trusted the wrong ones.

Gk: Kalau anda sayangkan Islam and Allah, tolong janganlah bawa masuk mereka dalam politik.

Wahai kawan-kawan Melayu sedemikian, bukan semua orang Melayu macam kamu. Gua orang hendakkan 'Keadilan', bukan main politik ugama dan bangsa. Tibalah masa kita memperjuangan politik berbilang kaum.

The above comment was purposely written in Malay for the benefit of people who are not so good in English. Some YBs do not understand English.

Parameswara: Look at the number of 'frogs' who are from the same ethnic group. They only talk about doing things ‘demi bangsa ' (for one's race), but (their defection) actually has nothing to do with their race.

It's all about indulging in 'haram' activities, but they keep using the ethnic card, over and over again.

Baiyuensheng: I think Salehuddin is right in saying PKR is losing support among the Malay grassroots.

But he is wrong to say that PKR is unaware of the situation. Anwar has repeated many times that leaders should turun padang (go to the ground) to convince the Malay grassroots. A lot of work, he has said, needs to be done to convince the Malays of Pakatan's multiracial, inclusive policies. If the grassroots fail to see the merits, then so be it.

12 pledge loyalty but Zul, Wee missing

Rayfire: No need for pledges. Just do your job well and the people will remember you. It's good that PKR has taken stock of who is in and who is out, thought this is not to say that those who pledged support are saints, either. They may say they are loyal now but change their minds later after deep (pocketed) consideration of some sort.

Zulkifli Noordin and Wee Choo Keong, please leave as well. Don't play lalang games (bend this way or that according to which way the wind blows) while being in Pakatan.

PKR should now concentrate on grooming real people-oriented leaders.
