vox populi small thumbnail 'Dear voters in Bagan Pinang, it's never a better time to prove the rakyat's worth as right-thinking Malaysians than now. Teach the arrogant folks in BN a severe lesson in humility in this by-election.'

It's Umno vs PAS in Bagan Pinang

Lim Chong Leong: The traitor Shahruddin Hamid deserves to be disqualified. He showed his true colours by resigning from PKR and wanted to run as Umno vote splitting goon, but did not do his homework. It goes to show that these Umno goons are good for nothing.

Kgen: If it takes a miracle to overcome the postal votes than I'm hoping for a miracle.

Dood: "Hidup Tan Sri Isa?" Those Umno/BN fools might just as well have been carrying "Long live corruption". You really got to wonder about the quality of people they have in there when Isa is supposedly their "best" candidate.

Malaysian: Dear voters in Bagan Pinang, it's never a better time to prove the rakyat's worth as right-thinking Malaysians than now. Teach the arrogant folks in BN a severe lesson in humility in this by-election. No violence needed and insults required. Just vote BN and their corrupt leaders out. We owe it to the younger generation.

Ranjit Singh: For 52 years, BN has been able to hoodwink us. Yes, the same us who think that Pakatan Rakyat is the beacon of light. Nobody is the beacon of light unless we the public for ourselves see the truth and reality, and act upon it.

You want to swing the vote then, take the trouble and sacrifice your precious time to go down to Bagan Pinang and make them know that Malaysian society is behind them for the change that would enhance the community in whole.

Wira: Now I understand why PAS got close to 30 percent of the postal votes cast in 2008 in Bagan Pinang. Close to 3,400 of those postal voters are no longer in the armed services. So even though they may return to the barracks to cast their votes, there is no "supervision" that those votes will go to Umno.

So, PAS... you have to work hard to convince those ex-army officers. If most of them vote for the moon, you'll spring a surprise on that crook.

Msian: Bagan Pinang people make sure your vote for PAS. Teach BN a lesson against money politics. We don't want corrupt fellows. All Indians voters, please vote for PAS and show the support for Pakatan.

How 'millions of ringgit' flew to Hong Kong

The Bogel Truth: This was the people's money, it was stolen by the powers that be. PKFZ was people's money, Bank Bumiputra was people's money, Telekom shares for the MIC was people's money. How many billions more, and where did it land? On the laps of the the BN chieftains and their lackeys.

When the BN says they champion the people, they are referring to the select few in their midst. The electorate in Bagan Pinang must be sensitised to this fact. BN candidates want their seat in order to make money by corruption, Mohd Isa Samad is a proven corrupt and is vying for office for that reason and that reason alone.

Mike: What a tangled web of lies, deceit and blatant corruption! Why is it that there are no upright, fearless and honourable men or women in the Umno/BN government who are prepared to help expose the corruption that obviously runs deep throughout the government at both state and federal levels?

Brij Jayaram Kathiravelu: Umno and corruption is a 'marriage' made in heaven during the 80s through the new century and is bound to be 'separated' in hell if and when a new party/parties is/are elected to govern our country.
