10.20pm: A jubilant Kelantan Umno chief Mustapha Mohamed claimed a "moral victory" for BN.

"We have reduced the majority significantly. PAS only win with a slim majority, hence the real loser is PAS," he told a press conference. "This is the first time we have slashed the opposition majority so significantly."
