Islam teaches us that life is not about personal fulfillment, but about the fulfillment of a greater purpose. Life’s riches are not yours to own and enjoy but for you to share, distribute and contribute.

The might and power you temporarily have is not to subjugate the weak but for you to lead those under you towards the path of enlightenment.

Alas, the Americans and the Jews have failed to appreciate this, because for them ‘might is right’ and it is about the survival of the fittest, the law of the jungle.

Their reasoning is that if the tables were turned, their enemies would do the same thing. So we teach the weak and pathetic Muslims a lesson by pounding them with bombs and mortars to submission.

It appears that at this point in time, there is nothing the rest of the world can do but watch helplessly in anger and despair.

Indeed, when you look at the pictures of the dead Palestinians, you begin to understand why their hearts are filled with hatred and they yearn for revenge, as though this will bring their innocent children back to life.

You grief with them, but true Islam teaches us that it is only in the face of absolute despair and hopelessness do you truly understand what it means to be forgiving and compassionate.

Violence begets further violence, and this vicious downward cycle will never stop until we see ourselves back in the Stone Age.

The lessons of history have taught us that many a mighty empire in the past has since crumbled and brought to its knees be it through disease and pestilence, corruption and financial collapse, natural disasters or other reasons.

A stark reminder that the only power and might that is eternal in this world is God’s. Whilst we seemingly cannot beat the Americans and the Jews at their own game, all we need to do is for each of us to reject the American way of life.

Stop buying American goods, stop visiting their country, stop dealing in their currency, and overnight their might and wealth will disappear.

And one day this may actually happen when the citizens of the world finally have had enough of the way the Americans and Jews continue to act and take things for granted.
