Who fulfils His purpose for us with a huge sigh,

Hear Our Cry O God and cleanse our Nation's heart,

Root out the callous, hard, prideful heart,

Be merciful O God, on ruling families full of bitterness,

Pursue men without forgiveness,

Quick to greed, slow to give to the poor,

Quick to burden with religiosity, slow to God-honour,

Quick to imprison, slow to deliver us from injustice,

Quick to wickedness, slow to perform justice,

The Secret of Wisdom for the Malaysian Everyman,

Fear of God delivers us from the Fear of Man,

Fear of Man Enslaves us to the Denial of God,

Whom do we serve? Self, Party, Nation or God?

Whom do we deny? Self, Party, Nation or God?

Revive Our Nation's Heart, Every Leader's Heart,

A Dependence on You O God this Independence
