I refer to the Malaysiakini report PM: No one will stop him from running .

BN’s bold criticism about Wan Azizah Wan Ismail being irresponsible by giving up her seat to her husband Anwar Ibrahim as a gift, was most likely made thinking that we Malaysians are ignorant and stupid.

No wonder one writer said BN has to date, still not learnt it's lesson after its dismal performance in the March 8 election. It was the same arrogance and lack of understanding of the rakyat 's frustrations that caused BN's huge defeat in the five states.

We Malaysians of voting age all know the background of the story of how Wan Azizah stood by Anwar while he was put in jail by the BN government. We all appreciate her act of bravery, her sacrifice and dedication and most importantly, her belief that it is for a very worthy cause.

As Anwars's wife, she is the best person to judge whether her husband was guilty of those sinful acts. We, as Malaysians, must all appreciate the effort and monumental amount of patience she has displayed.

Her perseverance and actions give us hope for a better and brighter Malaysia. Today, we see Anwar as the honourable leader of a multiracial PKR and come Sept 16, we shall see Anwar as the rightful PM of a multiracial Malaysia.

Without Wan Azizah's tireless effort and sacrifice, we must take note that this coming by-election may not be that easy to win. We should all be thankful for her contributions and soon we shall all be realising the reality of a Malaysian dream for all Malaysians.

If our top BN leaders cannot think of more sensible and sincere things to say from now until the coming by-election, then it is better they keep quiet and nobody will bother them. Let them not cause further irritation to the rakyat.

Look at Chua Soi Lek. Still talking so big in the papers and foolishly thinking he is great by trying to justify himself! Why don't Pak Lah or Najib just ask him to keep quiet because he is actually doing more harm to BN by his rhetoric.

Just imagine. We have this sort of people representing us in the BN government. Ong Ka Ting was smart enough to call it a day by not standing for re-election for the MCA president’s post.

Ong Tee Keat, the ‘Lone Ranger’ thinks he can solve things through BN when nobody else has succeeded. What makes him think that there will be other ‘delegates’ of repute left in the MCA whom he can work with as most of the smart and discerning ones would have quit?

Those who are smart enough will jump ship, not because of disloyalty, but because they are tired of BN which has not delivered but keeps making empty promises for the past 50 years. Better for those that can discern and know right from wrong, to bail out of BN as soon as possible and join forces with PKR to overthrow a corrupt BN regime.

In the past, a two-party system of equal ranking in terms of multiracial diversity was unthinkable. So we were hoodwinked into thinking that we needed the BN formula of representatives in each of the race-based component parties to make things work.

After 50 years, nothing worked and it got worse. Umno, through the country's constitution and in the name of protecting Malay rights, blatantly abused it's position. The protection of Malay rights became protection of Umno rights, and even that only for a few elite Malays benefited.

Those 2,000 plus MCA members have made the right choice in joining PKR before the BN ship sinks into oblivion.

In closing, I must confess that I was a diehard BN supporter for almost my entire life until the last election when enough was enough for me. So you may say I also jumped ship like many others who were formerly staunch BN supporters during Mahatir Mohamad’s reign.

As the saying goes, ‘better late than never’. I am therefore speaking from bitter experience. Those who wish to be sentimental and remain loyal to BN component parties, please be kind to yourselves and your family members and reconsider.

Look forward to a future whereby our future PMs will be voted for by all Malaysians and no longer be chosen by a certain race or party.

Malaysia Truly Boleh, if we - its 26 million responsible and discerning citizens - let the best of Malaysian talent come forward to serve our country well. Give Malaysia a breath of fresh air.
