I refer to my earlier letter No record of my university application?

It is completely unacceptable that I have to waste my time calling the higher education ministry and then wait only for the ministry to tell me that I can't do anything - not even appeal - as my records are not in their system.

I sent many e-mails and approached several political parties and USM regarding my situation but up till now, only the MCA has replied me asking me to appeal through them to the ministry.

Which I did. I put pharmaceutical studies in USM and Veterinary Science in UPM as my two appeal choices. After which there was complete silence from all parties about the status of my appeal.

I gave up thinking that nothing would come out of it.

Then I was called two weeks later by someone at the ministry who tells me I can't appeal for pharmaceutical studies and asks me to change it to something else.

I am unable to comprehend this distinction between pharmaceutical studies and other courses that I cannot appeal for. Anyway, I changed it to Genetics And Molecular Biology in UM.

The results of this appeal were announced last Monday, and when I tried entering my MyKad number and exam index number to check the results, an error message popped up saying that my index number was wrong. But it's definitely correct.

It boggles the mind that after all that I've been through, the ministry still doesn't take my application and information seriously, displaying such sheer incompetence.

I called the ministry again and the reply was the same which was they didn't know why there was such a problem and that they would call me back.

They did this on the same day only to inform me that I could actually enter the site with my IC number alone and that I did not succeed in my appeal.

This is really frustrating as the reason I took the STPM after getting straight A1s for SPM was so that I would be able to enter a public university which now I'm not able to even with all my effort and toil.

If I am not good enough to enter a public university, may I please know what the requirements are?

Dare the higher education minister explain this fiasco that has occurred as well as lay bare theselection process for university entry and appeals?
