Dear Mr Prime Minister, I wrote several letters to you but I do not know if you had read them as I did not receive any acknowledgment from you. I then wrote several letters to Malaysiakini in the hope that you would read them. They were kind enough to publish some of them. Mr PM, we do not write letters because we have nothing else to do in life. We write them with the intention of telling you what we - the rakyat - really want you to do as our elected representative. Yes, please remember that you are our representative to the government. You are not the government. The government is an institution. You are a person. It is not practical for 26 million Malaysians to run this institution, so we elect someone we think is capable to represent us in running this institution. Don’t believe what the guys on the 4th Floor tell you. Sometime in November 2007, you told us that you will continue with your style of administration as Malaysians are happy with it. You came to this conclusion based on a ‘recent survey’. I also have conducted a survey but I don’t think you will be too happy with the results of my survey. As a prime minister, you should do better than to base your decisions and style on a ‘recent survey’. You should look at the main indices of the country and what the rakyat want. And Mr PM, when I say rakyat, I do not mean your elite group of bandits aka the Umnoputeras. The rakyat wants to put a stop to the economic pillaging by Umno and thus they voted in a strong opposition in the last elections. Isn’t this a better indicator of what the rakyat wants instead of your ‘recent survey’? You have put incapable persons as ministers. Tell me Mr PM, which is the most important ministry? It’s the ministry of education. That’s because today’s children are tomorrow’s leaders. But you have put a person who is candidly more interested in his personal political and economic future than the future of our children. And one more thing, he is a racist too. Look at the state of our government schools. It’s embarrassing. Just put on a disguise and walk into any government primary school. It is like a fish market. And if not for the uniform, you will not be able to distinguish the teacher from the students. Most of the teachers are young and have no experience in teaching. My son is among the top in his class and he learns nothing in school. He attends tuition classes for every subject and this is where he gets his education. This is very expensive and your bad decision to increase the price of fuel has made it even more difficult for me now. Your colleagues do not worry about such trivial matters as they have lots of our money in their pockets so their options are wide open and some even send their children to expensive private schools. My options are not so wide. Please Mr. PM, allocate at least two hours each day to read the popular blogs (you can skip some blogs as they are just propaganda rubbish). Read also the popular news websites like Malaysiakini. These are media platforms where the rakyat tells you what is really happening and not just tell you what you want to hear. They are not lies and slander like you call them. You should know what lies are. You have told so many of them. You recently labeled our comments as ‘treacherous, deliberate attempts to create perceptions of uneasiness and distrust among the people, via the Internet and SMS……and blemished the principles of Rukunegara’. It is very impressive. It almost sounds like someone with an Oxford education wrote this speech for you. In case you have forgotten, below are the five principles to the Rukenegara. Please do not change this and call it Rukunegara Hadhari. 1. Kepercayaan Kepada Tuhan (Belief in God) - obviously the Umnoputeras don’t believe in God. Praying five times a day and abstaining from alcohol does not mean one believes in God. You have to stop raping the economic well-being of others and start treating everyone as equal. 2. Kesetiaan Kepada Raja dan Negara (Loyalty to King and Country) - obviously the Umnoputeras don’t believe in loyalty to King and Country. Remember how you and the rest of your Umnoputra members took away the powers of the royalty? 3. Keluhuran Perlembagaan (Upholding the Constitution) - your clique has breached this so many times that I do not know which are the best example to give here. 4. Kedaulatan Undang-undang (Sovereignty of the Law) - Mr Correct, Correct, Correct proved to us beyond doubt that Umnoputeras do not believe in the sovereignty of law. Also, what about the thousands of police custodial deaths, especially that of Francis Udayyapan? 5. Kesopanan dan Kesusilaan (Good Behavior and Morality) - your chief clown Bung Mokhtar Radin never ceases to prove to the rakyat that Umnoputeras have no morals whatsoever. Mr Prime Minister, it's time to wake up. We all like to break records but I assure you sir, the Sleeping Beauty’s record cannot be broken. |
