Say what you like about Singapore but at least there:
It is safe to walk the street, even if you are alone and a young woman whether there is a bright moon in the sky or not.
The roads do not have potholes
Cars don't get stolen like in Malaysia
A call to the police will be attended to immediately
Schools goes by a full set of clear, transparent guidelines
University education is based on merit and not on two parallel systems for unequal entry
Corruption, like in their National Kidney Foundation, can be dealt with.
Flights don't get delayed and passengers don't get bumped off so badly
If I misplace my laptop somewhere in a public place, the chances of getting it back are very high
People there (even the Malays) are generally happier than the people in Malaysia.
Religion is not allowed to override everyday life
There are opportunities for anyone and everyone who wants to work hard.
