Newspapers are supposed to be the bridge for people to convey their grievances and complaints to government and for the government to spread its news to people. Nowadays, our newspapers are only pro-government in terms of news and they forget that it is actually rakyat that buys their newspapers to ensure their (the newspapers') survival.

How can the mainstream press (most of them) be so coward as not to report the anti-toll hike protests by the rakyat to give a message to the government that we are unhappy? You are irresponsible to your readers and the rakyat.

You have over one million readers; you can help the rakyat to make a difference. Aren't some of your friends and family affected by all the hikes the government has implanted thus far?

Even the Johor floods photos and news only highlight those ministers who come for 'sight- seeing' days after the floods. How about those pictures of children losing their books, parents crying because all their money, car and house are gone. Of old people who are sick?

Where are all those news? That's how pathetic all our newspapers have become!
