I applied for change of name for my son on Nov 23, 2008 at the National Registration Department. I was advised to wait for six months for the outcome.

I called the department on May 13, 2006 and was informed that my application was rejected by the panel on April 21, 2009. No reasons were given.

I am furious that my application was rejected. I have given good reasons for the change of my son's name. I did not change his name according to my whim and fancies.

It is the NRD who is rejecting my application according to their whims and fancies. I have contacted NRD a number of times and each time I will be pushed around to a person who is not available at ALL times.

On one side our prime minister wants to be the people's minster and on the other side NRD is busy increasing tension for everyone.

I am tired and sick of the big bullies from NRD. Can someone from the higher authority assist?
